How long does it take to build a custom mountain home?
Every acreage and timber frame project is unique, but a standard luxury build in the Kootenays typically takes twelve to eighteen months from dirt to keys. Because we own our own heavy excavation equipment, we bypass the usual rental delays and get your foundation poured much faster than standard contractors.
Do you build during the extreme Kootenay winters?
Absolutely. As a BC Housing Licensed Builder partnered with Pacific Home Warranty, your investment is protected by comprehensive coverage. This includes a one year materials and labour warranty, a two year mechanical systems warranty, a five year building envelope warranty, and a ten year structural defect warranty.
My property is on a very steep rocky slope. Can you handle the site prep?
Complex mountain terrain is our exact specialty. We own a dedicated fleet of heavy yellow iron, including large tracked excavators, specifically to conquer steep grades and rocky earth. We will safely carve your access road, level the foundation pad, and manage all the complex mountain drainage.
